No. “Fuzzy” “minor details” aren’t lies - omission or exaggerations aren’t lies, are they. What exactly do you have invested in this prat?
The STANDARD of proof is no longer on my part; there are plenty of instances of relenting and admission ensuing the incident. That you care to continue this absurd mania is entirely confounding (and no I am not going to recite them for you in some weird self flagellation).
Give it a rest. He is done. The damage is done, and the longer you prop up this farce the worse it will be for him.
I don't know him from Adam, but I became immediately suspicious when I saw the video on "Good Morning America" where the Rio police was claiming he "vandalized" a bathroom, but would not show any video of him entering the bathroom even though they clearly have video covering the entrance to the bathroom.
That they would show no proof of him entering it struck me immediately as wrong.
I have no interest in Lochte, but I have a great deal of interest in preventing an injustice, and I have an especially deep hatred for the US Media and how they have no qualms of repeating lies to assassinate the character of people they don't like. (Such as Sarah Palin, or Donald Trump.)

I do not fight for the truth because it is convenient or popular. I do it because it is the right thing to do, though the whole world may be against me.
I have long been on the wrong side of the world. This is territory that seems destined to be my permanent home.
So far as I am concerned, the "World" is a bunch of Lying Socialist bastards, and being on the wrong side of them is a pretty good indication that you are on the right side of morality.
Was a gun shoved into the car? Yes.
Did the Rio Extortionists take money from the four swimmers? Yes.
Did the swimmers vandalize a bathroom? No.
Did the Brazilian Government confiscate passports? Yes.
Did Lochte lie about being pulled out of the car and forced to the ground. Yes.
What is your problem? Heck if I know.
