Your opinion is incorrect because it has a false basis for it; That Lochte lied.
Lochte did not lie when he reported that he was robbed by members of the Rio Police department. That fact was absolutely correct.
Lochte *DID* lie when he said he had exaggerated, but he obviously did so in an effort to help his teammates who were being held for ransom in corrupt Brazil.
You need to stop asserting that Lochte lied unless you specify that he lied when he walked back his original statement. His initial statements barring a couple of fuzzy and minor details, was exactly correct.
