SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick sat during the national anthem in each of the team's three preseason games and plans to continue to do so until he sees real change when it comes to racial oppression in the United States.
"Yes, I'll continue to sit," Kaepernick said. "I'm going to continue to stand with the people that are being oppressed. To me this is something that has to change. When there's significant change and I feel like that flag represents what it's supposed to represent, this country is representing people the way that it's supposed to, I'll stand."

He won’t last in Dallas..or New York. The Jets won’t pick him up either.
>>>Sounds like a guy who pretty much knows his NFL career is over, and is now going Scorched Earth.
I don’t think he’s going scorched earth, but trying to make headlines, get famous some other way than on the field.
It was Denver vs. Carolina. Denver won.
Just have Mr. Kaepernick spend one month as a taxi driver in Saudi Arabia then let’s see where he stands on the issues in question.
Kick him off the team.
He was a punk when he came into the NFL and he is leaving the NFL the same way.
He’ll lose his job because he was a flash in the pan a few years ago and has sucked since; these theatrics are to prevent being cut (so he can make it about something other than his performance). If he was white he would have been cut already...
What a twit - disrespect the Nation that those he “champions” also spit on - which caused the current problems......that’ll fix things.
Give the 49’s some FREEPER dose of Patriotism.
