The latest controversy is not a surprise to those who have followed his career. Is Donald Trump racist? That question has hung over the presumptive Republican nominee for president as he has called Mexicans rapists and proposed a ban on Muslims entering the U.S. Lately, though, the question has taken on more urgency as Trump has repeatedly publicly attacked the judge who presides over Trump University class-action lawsuits. Calling the American-born Gonzalo Curiel a Mexican, he said Curiel was therefore biased against him, and he added to the flurry of objections by suggesting that a Muslim judge might also be incapable of hearing a lawsuit involving any Trump entity.
In between these remarks he managed to offend by singling out a black man at one of his rallies, calling him my African American as if the fellows presence proved Trump was on the right side of the race issue.

Ex-Klansman Robert Byrd, the senior senator from West Virginia, casually used the phrase "white nigger" twice on national TV this weekend. Enraged civil rights groups organized a protest campaign against Sen. Byrd and demanded that he undergo sensitivity training ... not.
The ex-Klansman, you see, is a Democrat. Democrats can join hate groups and utter the ugliest racial slurs and get away with it because they are Democrats. They belong to the party of racial tolerance and understanding. They're paragons of virtue, and the rest of us are bigoted rubes.
The ex-Klansman showed his true colors when asked by Fox News Sunday morning talk show host Tony Snow about the state of race relations in America. Sen. Byrd warned: "There are white niggers. I've seen a lot of white niggers in my time. I'm going to use that word. We just need to work together to make our country a better country, and I'd just as soon quit talking about it so much."
The Democrats made him leader of the Senate!
They referred to him as the 'conscience of the Senate'
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
In 1942, 24-year-old Byrd joined the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), whose parades in Matoaka, West Virginia, he had witnessed in his childhood. He was unanimously elected Exalted Cyclops, or leader, of his local chapter.[8]
Byrd, in his autobiography, attributed the beginnings of his political career to this incident, although he lamented that they involved the Klan.
According to Byrd, a KKK official told him "You have a talent for leadership, Bob... The country needs young men like you in the leadership of the nation." Byrd recalls that "suddenly lights flashed in my mind! Someone important had recognized my abilities! I was only 23 or 24 years old, and the thought of a political career had never really hit me. But strike me that night, it did."[4]
He participated in the KKK during World War II, holding the titles Kleagle (recruiter) and Exalted Cyclops [the top officer in the local Klan unit]. He did not serve in the military during the war, working instead as a welder in a Baltimore, Maryland shipyard, where he helped build warships.[citation needed]
Byrd commented on the 1945 controversy about racially integrating the military. Byrd, when he was 28 years old, wrote to segregationist Senator Theodore Bilbo, of Mississippi, vowing never to serve in such a military:
"Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.[5]"
He had earlier written "I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side".[6][7]

From the Washington Post:
"Byrd said in the Dec. 11, 1945, letter -- which would not become public for 42 more years with the publication of a book on blacks in the military during World War II by author Graham Smith -- that he would never fight in the armed forces "with a Negro by my side." Byrd added that, "Rather I should die a thousand times, and see old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.."..."
"during the general election campaign, Byrd's GOP opponent uncovered a letter Byrd had handwritten to Green, the KKK Imperial Wizard, recommending a friend as a Kleagle and urging promotion of the Klan throughout the country. The letter was dated 1946 -- long after the time Byrd claimed he had lost interest in the Klan. "The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia," Byrd wrote, according to newspaper accounts of that period. Byrd makes no mention of the letter in his new book."

Clinton says in the video that Senator Byrd was her mentor and that he was the heart and soul of the Senate .

So, maybe next month's feature will be "Is Hillary Clinton a Murderer?"
I won't hold my breath.
Trump retained one of the most notorious lawyers in the country, Roy Cohn, and commence an all-out legal war. Cohn, who had been Joe McCarthys chief inquisitor during the senators witch hunt for communists in the government, filed a $410 million lawsuit against the federal government and smeared the justice department attorneys with terms such as storm troopers and Gestapo. Trump complained in the press of reverse discrimination and alleged a nationwide drive to force landlords to rent to welfare recipients.
I quit reading right there. Total bias throughout the article.
Another “perception is reality” piece. A sure giveaway of a leftist. We are supposed to make judgments not on the candidate’s actions nor even his words, but rather on what the author tells us are the intentions behind the words. Because the author, being a good leftist, can reliably read minds.
Oh, like Fortune never used Roy Cohn! He was the ultimate New York fixer for about 50 years. He helped friends of mine in serious trouble. He was NOT the evil gnome made out by playwrights and anti-Trumpers.
Hellary is the Original Birther, she initiated the questioning of the Obama Birth Certificate in her 2008 primary against Hussein Obama.
Only racists use the word racist.
Dem formula:
30 years of being a business mogul = Not racist.
Running for prez = RACIST!
Anyone buying that is a f-in moron!
Oh they are - fake business news for over 50 years running now.
So while the left and right run around in circles over who is the most racist - every other race in this country hase a multitude of race based political, lobbying and social groups. Yet whites are the evil ‘racist’.
How did we ever come to this? We are destroying ourselves...
For this writer, “the record” only contains the bad stuff, and none of the volumes of good stuff.
I couldn’t read very much of this article, it was starting to make me sick to my stomach...such rot, isn’t it a shame that there are people out there with so much vile, evil hatred?
I look across this Nation, and have been in every state but Hawaii and Alaska, have driven truck through almost every county, I found Americans...I didn’t see Black, Brown, White, Yellow, Green, Purple, Blue, Orange, I seen Americans...
While riding around different parts of America with my biker buds, I didn’t see anything but Americans...we were greeted by a solid hand shake, a slap on the back, a cheery word, there wasn’t a racist remark made...we laughed, smoked, drank, and everyone joined in...just because you didn’t have a Harley, or own a Harley didn’t mean you weren’t included, hell we love everyone...
This is the America I know, and now that I have retired from trucking, sold my Harley, run my own business, take care of my sweet loving 6 year old grandson, I live in an apartment complex, and we gather about twice a week, and talk about the pressure that government in bringing on us...and yet, there is not Black, Brown, Green, Yellow, Purple, White, these are American parents and children worried about the Greatest Country in the World and are we going to make it...
Yes we are, because WE ARE AMERICANS!!!
They were sold in 2014.

The definition of “racist” seems to bend so much depending on who is doing the talking then one could say that everyone is racist and nobody is racist.
