Hard drives often contain sensitive information like passwords and bank details that could, in theory be recovered, and office computers will contain other sensitive information like customer records. On the balance of probabilities though, Clinton probably used this to hide things she didn’t want the FBI to find.
But most people don’t use that first when the FBI or others have requested the computer.
