I think if you held a drinking game with these terms used by the commentators, you would be drunk in 2 minutes:
- "life long dream"
- "overcame adversity"
- "the human spirit"

I watched the Ukraine mens wrestler go up againt Russia. U lost, but the significance of the match was not lost on me.
The closing ceremonies played as my 13yo son and i played rummy. Nice experience.

I used to watch them religiously too...
the hype turns me off...
the constant parade of anything "black" or "muslim"...
biggest thing for me is nothing seems to be live...as in you watch it as its going on...

I usually like to watch the girls gymnastics and some of the guys if we have anyone in the running. Last night, I was awake and ended u watching our ladies losing at golf.
Some ski contests in the Winter and I have my fill.
