Intersex is a birth defect and not a choice. Sad, really.
I don’t think they should have let him compete against women, but like you, I feel sorry for that person.
I make it a rule never to pass judgement on someone because of how they were born. If someone puts tattoos all over their face, I am going to judge them on that. If someone who is black is acting like an idiot in conformance with the moronic “black culture” that requires they wear their pants halfway down their crack, a wifebeater on their torso, and a hat sideways with a flat brim, well, yeah. I judge them for that. If someone cuts their hair into a mohawk, I will judge them on that.
But if someone has physical features as a result of how they came into this world, then their physical appearance has no bearing on my estimation of them.
I do take some issue with this guy forcing the issue to allow him to compete against women, but that is about it.
Why do they call it intersex, when it’s not a combination of man and woman, or a hermaphrodite?
