South African runner Caster Semenya dominated the women’s 800-meter final Saturday in Rio, finishing well ahead of the competition to take home the gold medal.
Semenya is widely believed to be “intersex,” defined by the United Nations as people born with sex characteristics “that do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies.” The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) last summer suspended International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) rules prohibiting athletes who exceed a testosterone threshold from competing in women’s track and field events, clearing the way for Semenya to compete in Rio.
The CAS ruling claimed that high testosterone levels didn’t necessarily give female athletes an advantage.

Semenya finished a whole second ahead of the next-closest finisher, setting a personal best with a time of 1:55.28.

How many TV shows feature some white guy that can’t cook a hamburger, has food stains on his T-shirt, and has no idea how to talk to his wife and kids. I thought Mooschelle was supposed to be all glamorous and that. That skirt looks like her 9 year old daughter’s first attempt at a sewing project that she picked out of the bottom of the hamper. That tank top looks like something she picked up from the bargain rack at a swap meet. My wife could do better than that at a thrift store with $30.

It's my understanding she was born that way, hasn't had any surgery and is competing in the body God gave her.
I’ve gotta comment on your first bullet-point: I noticed that, too. I occasionally glimpse ads or some media with runway models and ask my wife, “She’s got the haircut and body of an 11 year old boy, who’s finding that attractive?!” Hollywood is like that, too. The red carpet is a parade of fish-lipped, flat-chested, 85-lb anorexics with a token 300-pounder to show that they care. There’s nothing there for me.

We shouldn’t be quoting the United Nations definition of intersex. We should be using a medical authority for medical definitions.
I’ve had discussions with my children about how you never see a competent, intelligent, kind, full time father/husband on TV who is white. You’ll see black and hispanic fathers fill all the checklists. If he’s white, he’s smart and competent but bad, smart but bumbling, kind and married but an idiot, etc.

Intersex is different that transgender. Intersex is a baby born with deformity of the genitalia, this poor kid was born looking more like a girl than a boy between the legs. It’s obvious they guessed wrong about the gender.
It’s sad more than sick.

Womens events should have wardrobe rules the prohibit participants from wearing supporters. No participant with franks and beans isn’t beating anyone without a supporter.
