Mormons are not Christians. They do not believe Christ is the son of God.
This is not true.
They do believe Christ is the Son of God.
Jesus Christ is definitely the Son of God.
Thanks bud I will check them.
Born Again Christians like myself believe in a mercy based faith that there is nothing we can do to make ourselves better in God’s eyes. He is perfection and we are imperfect so we need the blood of Jesus to cleanse us with his mercy, nothing else.
Cults like Mormonism believe you can work your way to heaven and deep in the cult they pray to Joseph Smith. This is why they take missions and knock doors to earn their way to different planets in heaven. It is a man based religion and not Christ based.
You’re kidding me?
Mormons don’t believe Christ is the Son of God?
Wow. Like Romney’s religion?
ijr link thingie no good
Cults like Mormonism believe you can work your way to heaven and deep in the cult they pray to Joseph Smith.
Again, not true.
I’m not sure where you are getting your info but you need to do more research.
Maybe you could stop a couple of those nice young men or girls and talk to them to get the truth.
They won’t lie to you. Lying is a sin, don’t ya know?
No they do not. They mouth the words, but they do not believe in the Trinity or that Jesus cleanses you of all your sins. There are some sins you have to cleanse yourself through the church which is impossible.
If Christ does not cleanse you of all your sins he does not cleanse you of any of them. That is what grace and mercy are about.
There are two Mormon Churches, one you see and one only the Bishops see and that is the one which is not Christian.
She's interviewing the lovely Marsha Blackburn who is talking about:
the compound effect on the Clintons" about scandal after scandal "web of deception, different set of rules. If you or I did this we would be in jail.
Marsha is great.
Great interview.
I didn't.
They (The BACs) said the Catholics worship dead people (saints), don't know exactly what their problem is with Quakers.
I'm Missouri Synod.
I heard, check post #104.
newt on now.
Everyone is cleansed through the Atonement of Jesus Christ by accepting him as your Lord and Savior and following his teachings.
We can agree to disagree.
I have done plenty of research and talked to some excommunicated Mormons who have been inside where you have no knowledge. It is a cult of the worst kind and why Romney was a terrible choice. Look what it is doing to Beck.
They do pray to Joseph Smith who they think is Christ and do not believe Christ is the Son of God. Read their version of the New Testament and see if you can find him being named the Son or God or mention of the Trinity that all are equal to God?
Unitarianism started as yet another Protestant sect based on theological differences with existing Christian sects. Specifically they reject there Trinity, and believe in the unit to of Good. Most historically still view Christ as God’s Savior for man.
All the religions listed do consider themselves Christian, as far as I know. The Mormons are very explicit about it.
The problem with schisms creating sects is that pretty soon everyone has one.
Dear Bray, you can’t talk to an excommunicated person from any religion and expect to get to the truth.
Just my 2 cents.
Hope to see YouTube links of Maria’s show...
Rock - just so you know, this isn’t against you or anything you said, just an explanation and relaying my feelings of some I’ve encountered here and there over the years.
I’m Catholic (born and raised) and get a little upset when some Protestants or others (not all of them) say that by praying to saints we are worshipping false idols or worship dead people (as you said). I was named after a couple of saints and I look at them as special friends (for lack of a better term) and pray or talk to them from time to time (I also talk to my deceased Mother and Father from time to time, and will being doing the same with my step-father who just passed away this week, which is why I’m taking the ferry today). All that said, there is only one Jesus, who is my Lord and Savior and He deserves special reverence, prayers and attention. He can cleanse and save me, the saints cannot.
Oh and BTW, their version of the Bible is the King James version and last time I read it, it did state that Jesus was the son of God.
Mormons are not Christians. Unitarians are not Christians. Jehovah’s whatevers are not sane. And, you are a moron.
I dunno. I was stationed at Otis AFB on Cape Cod many years ago. Taking a flight from the Vineyard to Nantucket island is not uncommon for executives/someone with money. If it was to go make a talk I can understand. I’m sure Donald would have done the same. The boat ride is nice, if you have time.
I tried to follow the ferry from Hyannisport to Nantucket on my girlfriend’s Dad’s little 16 foot speed boat. Suffice to say I didn’t get very far. The rollers had me up and down like a yo-yo. Every 30 seconds the propeller would be spinning in the air! I went back in after about two miles out.
I won’t chide Clinton for this—there is plenty of other important things she deserves jail on, let alone criticism.
Sorry for your loss of your FIL. Prayers up for you and your family.
