The leaning tower is the better known of the building on that campus, but I find the ancient cathedral to be more moving than the tower (which was deliberately built to lean).

No mosques in the U.S. or Europe until the complete freedom to build churches throughout the Muslim world.

I dont know if I can take it.
I wish I could go back in time and get a number of Roman Legions.
No wonder my grandparents and father left.
Changing my last name if this is built.

Hundreds is a good start but it's going to take a lot more than that. A lot more.
Wake up, Italy.

As far as I am concerned (and it is just my "builder's bias"), the leaning tower was built to lean. The bell tower at the top was built plumb, and it is canted with respect to the bulk of the tower. The tower is just about one solid chunk of marble too - massive is an understatement.
twoerofpisa.org says the tower was intended to be plumb, but went off plumb during construction. That may be true, my observation though is that the bell tower, the top level, is obviously canted compared with the rest of the structure, and at least THAT was deliberate!
Same website describes the other structures. It is a Christian site.
Finally, "ancient" is overstating things - the cathedral is old, dating to a similar time as the tower. From memory, there are older artifacts in that area, certainly the cemetery adjoining.
Not shown in the picture, and maybe different today, the "other side" of the road is a tacky tourist trap. Souvenir shops, photos, post cards, tee shirts.

The times I was active here recently, the site was working as I expected. A few times it was slow building a web page for me, but it always responded as I expected.

The tower is the bell tower for the cathedral. Magnificent place.

This mosque is a giant middle-finger to the remaining non-cucked people of France.
