Polls are skewed because most intelligent people do NOT answer their cell phone if they don’t recognize the caller.
Second, a lot of people have cell phones that are also their work phones. I for one if called by a poll would hang up.
Three, liberals are basically lonely people who love attention, and if the phone rings they can wait to answer.*
*-This is my little joke...but probably true.
Your first and second points here apply to me, personally. If we did our own little poll on polling here, we’d be shocked at the huge proportion of people these points apply to. Which goes right to the main point in Scania’s summary...the cohort in the group the group that answers is likely not representative of the overall population, which skews the poll results by the sample being at least marginally not representative.
