Coumadin was developed at the University of Wisconsin in the 1940s and is basically the same as rat poison. I went on it for a brief time while I was undergoing cardioversion for my atrial fibrillation and wound up pissing blood. There are many other alternative blood thinning products on the market for a reason.

I now use a natural vitamin nattokinase in conjunction with aspirin and a healthy diet to reduce my stroke risk. And I ha also run marathons, so there are better ways to stay healthy than using Warfarin

I lived in Wisconsin when Morning on the Farm radio show was touting Warfarin as the best rat poison.

In 2009 had cardioversion for my A-Fib. Coumadin had me p***ing burgundy wine. Doc said stop taking it. That worked.

Then open heart surgery in 2011 & solved it all. Of course now I’m diagnosed with congestive heart failure due to my decades of poor lifestyle choices. Murder will out.

I’ve been on Coumadin for 26 years. I haven’t pissed blood once.

I don’t go to crazy lengths to watch my diet. I eat regular meals and try not to go overboard.

Using something like nattokinase and aspirin would not help me. I have major clotting issues that involved up to 75% of my lungs and the rest of my body down, at two points in my life.

I couldn’t run a marathon today due to the loss of my two main veins, one in each leg. Blood pools in my lower extremities.

My legs swell if I stand or sit for too long a period of time, but can be reduced significantly with the use of support socks.

I can do exercise in moderation over short periods of time. The endurance activities are out.

If I did what you’re doing, I wouldn’t be here.
