n an interview on KABC-TV, Dr. Drew Pinsky of Loveline and Celebrity Rehab fame said a recent report on Hillary Clintons health from Breitbart raised serious questions as to whether Hillary could complete her term if elected president.
The report indicated that the Democrat front-runner could be suffering from long-term health issues stemming from a concussion and blood clot, which Clintons doctors denied. Dr. Lisa Bardack, Clintons doctor and chair of internal medicine at the Mount Kisco Medical Group in New York, said the former secretary of state and first lady was healthy and would be able to serve.
Pinsky, however, questioned that after he looked at some of the medications in Bardacks health assessment of the candidate.
BREAKING: Hillary Gets Terrible News From Texas The neurologist you spoke to said you would put somebody on something like Coumadin to dissolve the clot in the skull you would put somebody on a blood thinner for six months or so after that, Dr. Pinsky said.
But in the doctors comment, or one of the comments, I saw they said they elected to keep her on anticoagulants, which is kind of bizarre.
Pinsky questioned the kind of treatment Clinton is receiving, as well.

So, she has an underlying recurrent blood clot in her leg, a clot in her transverse sinus why is she clotting? he asked.
And then why would you leave her on the oldest and sort of most treacherous anticoagulant? If youre going to leave somebody on an anticoagulant, why the oldest, old-fashion anticoagulant wouldnt you think somebody whos a candidate for president (would) have one of the newer anticoagulants that are safer, and the indications for her staying on anticoagulants are kind of spurious it makes me worry about the sophistication of the health care she is getting.
Pinsky also noted Clinton is getting treatment from the 1950s for a thyroid condition.
By the way, thyroid problems can lead to hypercoagulability, he added, indicating the treatment was running . Shes not getting the proper treatment for hyperthyroid. And why is somebody whos running for the president of the United States getting such shoddy care?

Forget the politics, Pinsky said. (A)ll aside, my physician senses are tingling and Im worried about the human being who also happens to be a presidential candidate.
H/T Breitbart

Could reports like this keep Hillary Clinton from winning the presidency?
As I said in the other thread, those of you who go to the grocery store should see the most recent cover of the National Enquirer, her weight has ballooned up to over 300 lbs. per the Enquirer, now it is down but...having to watch what you eat to lose weight, etc. would leave me weak.
Then again, it is the National Enquirer so it might be garbage.
“WE WIN THE VOTE OR WE LOSE, ... SO WE WIN AT THE BALLOT OR ITS OVER.”
Well put.
Muslims and atheists would be furious at the mention of God.The two together had to account for a significant portion of her vote.
Hillary will not step aside quietly. She's waited too long for the prospect of becoming President.
***Im surprised that guy still has a medical license. Seems to have a penchant for diagnosing people he hasnt examined***
I realize that Hillary probably does have medical problems. But I think this “tv doctor” stayed at Holiday Inn Express before he did this interview.
With this level of ignorance I wouldn’t let him give my dog a rabies shot.
I stopped reading after that
I don't know about that. He seemed pretty eager to grab onto a $600K vacation home.
His take on Armour is antediluvian as well.
I had a DVT and had to inject myself with Lovanox 2x per day for 6 mo.
I had a black and blue abdomen, and was running out of injection locations.
Coumadin is a nasty drug. If she has clotting problems, she would be on a dose that requires regular blood tests to sample her chemistry, like once or twice a week. It's that difficult to balance the dosage. One can bleed to death if their INR gets too high, which can happen fairly quick with coumadin.
The ONLY diagnosis I want to hear from Dr. Pinsky, Phil or Seuss is that Hillary is cold as a mackerel on an iceberg, next to Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and Ben Rhodes.
Stop teasing the public, Doctor!
***The neurologist you spoke to said you would put somebody on something like Coumadin to dissolve the clot in the skull ***
That right there was the beginning of the bs. You don’t use Coumadin to dissolve a blood clot. You use tPA or some other thrombolytic med to dissolve blood clots. Then you would start Coumadin therapy.
And anther couple of points. This Dr. stating she should only be on Coumadin a few months. Not true. If she has PVD, which she probably does ( cankles) that would definitely cause DVT’s and would need to stay on Coumadin therapy. And Coumadin is not a bad drug. It has saved countless lives.
People this woman is wealthy beyond imagination. Not to mention she has been in a position to get the best health care in the country. She is not getting shoddy healthcare. This guy is not a doctor, he’s an idiot.
Articles like this do not help. And anyone believing this garbage is sadly mistaken.
Chronic cough can be caused by medications, like lisinopril for example, or, CHF, which would also explain her lower extremity edema.
Not to mention some insurance companies will now cover you a coagucheck machine that works just like a glucometer. I’ve had patients who have had part or all of the cost covered. They’re a bit pricey on their own but trust me, she can afford one.
As a nurse, I would prefer Coumadin over Eloquis simply because I would prefer the frequent pt/INR labs. But that’s just me.
And as far as dietary restrictions, you should minimize your intake of green, leafy vegetables because of the Vitamin K in them. It decreases the effectiveness of Coumadin. And alcohol can increase it.
To me the way she has a grip on the guy to her right speaks volumes. She’s afraid of falling.
Yes, and maybe unsteady on her feet.
