South Bend, Ind. -- A restaurant chain is removing billboards referencing a proposed border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.
Referring to a campaign promise by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, Hacienda Mexican Restaurant's signs proclaimed it has "The Best Mexican Food This Side Of The Wall."

I guess Taco Bell won’t be advertising with ‘We’ve got your order, south of the border’ and instead will use ‘we’ve got your order right here!’
Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
He might not get a backlash from the illegal alien Mexicans but I’m sure Americans will stop going to his restaurant...
Figures.
I’m shocked they did that at all.
Pretty good. If I liked Mex food, I’d go there!
No one’s going to the Hacienda Restaurant in South Bend now! The Health Department shut it down because they had not corrected previously cited issues.
I have a friend that works for a beer distributor. He says most of the Mexican restaurants are so nasty in the kitchen that he doesn’t even want to go through them, let alone eat anything cooked in one. One place he goes to has one of the restaurants drink glasses full of toothbrushes on the prep sink and cots everywhere one will fit.
Now that’s funny (except to dems/GOPers:-)
There is no sense of humor in the U.S. anymore.
They removed the references because “Winter is coming”.
“Hacienda executive vice president Jeff Leslie says he didn’t expect the backlash from the Hispanic community.”
I am pretty certain, Hispanics do not eat Mexican fast food.
No, it doesn't have the best Mexican food this side of the Wall. That is to be found at La Placita in Albuquerque, NM--or maybe Monroe's, also in Albuquerque. The best Mexican food on the other side of the Wall can be found at La Fonda de Santa Clara in Puebla.
Signs or no signs: real Mexicans don’t eat at Taco Bell.
And P.S....Neither should you!
They must less lard than the other joints?.
I have a co-worker here in NC whose family used to go to South of the Border on vacation when he was a kid. LOL
