The metaphor, Beck said, was intended to draw attention to white Americans' neglect to understand the very real issues, like police brutality, facing black Americans on a daily basis. He repeated the "All Lives Matter" mantra in an NPR interview the following day, where he further urged all Americans "to start listening to each other and getting out of our own little labeled bubbles."
Beck's "labeled bubbles" theory may be ground in reality. A Pew Research Center survey released Monday finds "significant differences" in the way black and white adults use social media to share and interact with race-related content. A Pew analysis of 995 million tweets over a 15-month period - from January 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016 - reveals that events from Baltimore, to Charleston, South Carolina, to Dallas "often serve as a catalyst for social media conversations about race" that go beyond just hashtag activism.
The conservative backlash to Beck's new-found position was immediate. Leading sites, Breitbart News and The Drudge Report, lambasted Beck's comments, which were made just hours before riots in Milwaukee following the fatal shooting of Sylville K. Smith at the hands of police.

You know, if I’m Glenn Beck, I sit down, lower the volume, and run a quiet little radio program for a while.
It’s like a whole people group has been taught that the only way to get ahead in the world is to be jerks (and no, I’m not even speaking of the fuzz here, frequent as that may be).
And when jerks meet jerks, the encounter is exacerbated.
5 of my 5 last trips to Colorado I’ve gotten stopped by cops. One time they told me that it was suspicious to see a Minnesota license plate in town.
If I were black, I would be certain I was being racially harassed by now.
Glenn was bereft today. Brad Thor has said he will vote Trump.....plus Beck is apoplectic over Bannon and Conway
I think he grasps issues just fine. Glenn Beck's problem is that he's chiefly interested in the promotion of Glenn Beck, and he promotes himself, almost always, by portraying himself as an outlier--not one of the conservative rabble. And in his mind, the best way to portray himself as an outlier is to say something shocking, no matter how lacking in common sense it is. With Beck, always remember that promotion, not decency, is the object.
Oh goody! So glad to hear!
I don’t know, $650K direct investment and putting the BLM Leader up in a Maryland mansion owned by an Open Societies board member sounds like control to me.
Someone let Crazy Glenn out of his straitjacket again??
Doubtless Soros could buy out the entire thing. He wanted, as I have heard, to “work reforms” through these people — but either he is an utter ignoramus or by this he means some kind of evil vengeance upon societies that he hates.
I do not suggest that life is always fair; but instilling the grievance mentality, as a tactic, has seldom been a way to what is fairer. It has usually been to a quite different purpose, with very little benefit to the person being conditioned.
Bingo and Jackpot.
How many Freepers will do an in depth analysis of Glen Beck's latest political positions and declare that he's simply confused. They'll do all sorts of research and apply critical thinking and compare and contrast his policy statements.
All he's doing is angling for his next gig.
I really wish our side would learn how to spot a scam.
The Garden thang sure was a sockdollager example of this. Oh, God hates you because He hasn’t spilled all His beans about good and evil to you. Well guess what, you’d never have room for all the beans you’d need, if you had to store them all yourself. So God’s generosity was made to look like some kind of evil plot.
Looking for how a misfortune situation can be turned to one’s legitimate gain works a lot better than the eternal kvetch, that’s for sure.
If this dope really believes this, he's completely lost it.
I think they have wrapped their own minds with cruel illusions. Not that things can’t ever actually go wrong with the fuzz — they do, and often it seems that people scarcely care when they do — but maybe part of the problem is all this crying of wolf.
I’m retired; I would prefer to go fishing, or just sit in the shade and have a cold beer.
Formula evil!
Why is Beck on the loose???
I struggle a lot with his logic.
Who is doling out the pie?
Since two people didn't get pie, why is the one only worried about HIS pie?
What was the determining factor in why someone didn't get their pie?
So, is he suggesting we could all have pie if we just took a microscopic sliver of pie from the other pieces to make a piece for the ones that didn't get it? Taxes? Entitlements?
And Beck is supposed to be a "die hard conservative" who aligned with Cruz over Trump because Trump wasn't conservative???
