UK GOVT WARMS TO REVERSAL OF NATO-RUSSIA MILITARY BUILD UP
Breitbart ^ | August 14, 2016 | Przemek Skwirczynski

Daniel Kawczynski, Member of Foreign Affairs Select Committee and Chairman of the All Party Group for Poland, is the latest high profile Member of Parliament to call for a change in the relationship between NATO and Russia, specifically asking for a reversal of the military build-up on the Russian and NATO borders and a de-escalation of the recent tensions.

Mr. Kawczynski, writing in a letter to the Telegraph newspaper, said whilst acknowledging that many in the London political circles “are suspicious of Russian motives and intentions” and see Russia as “causing concern for European security particularly over her actions in Crimea and in Eastern Ukraine”, Kawczynski points to the real danger of the current “arms race” getting out of control, especially on the borders of NATO and Russia.

Yeah. We should save ourselves the grief and simply submit.

We don’t, as a culture, even have a clue that wars, if fought, should be won. So what’s the point?

Forgot to add:

Keeping the EUpers from getting bent over the bench and punked bloody because their both too weak and too stupid to defend their ownselves, isn’t our problem.

Let them burn.

Knowing how Poles feel about Russians, Pan Kawczynski will not be a very popular man back home.

He’s a Brit (since age 7) and a homo according to Wikipedia. I doubt anybody in Poland gives a flip about what he says.

He's been a Brit since age 7. Is that when he discovered his sexuality too?

Limey poofters buggering each other in their boarding schools...(see C.S. Lewis' autobiography for example).

They are not militarily ready for a fight with Russia and it’s allies and neither is the US.

There is nothing to the Russian military. It’s a fragile and hollow shell.

They invent this, they invent that. All looks mighty mighty great on paper but that’s all it is. Great on paper.

The Russians can’t even support a unit greater than a regiment outside its own borders.

And for the comparison between the Russian and Ukraine military in that fight, remember, arab armies can look awful tough when fighting other arab armies. Otherwise, they’re walk-overs.

Some people STILL think that their 20 year old comparative assessments of the US versus Russia are still valid. That was pre-Putin (and also pre-Clinton,Bush,Obama)

Lots of things have changed since then. The latest assessment from the UK, from just last week, says we’d be a walk-over in Europe, given that Russia has modernized just about every weapons system we have, while we spent our money on Solyndra, ‘shovel-ready projects’, food stamps, Obamacare and crap like that.

Sometimes it’s best to pull back, if we’re not capable of anything short of a nuclear exchange (and even that can that can be argued, given those systems have been rotting also). Perhaps we think about RE-BUILDING our military first, before picking a fight and getting our butts kicked.

I read an article about the UK paper and it talked about the UK alone versus Russia. UK wouldn’t be alone in any realistic scenario.

This would not even be considered if it were not for Donald Trump and his presidential campaign.

The article also says this:

“The Times revealed the report, which was produced by the British army, on Wednesday. It warns that the UK and its NATO allies are “scrambling to catch up” with Russia, which enjoys significant advantages in pretty much every key aspect of warfare.”

So I’m not so sure we’re all that ready to fight.

Never use gross overestimation of an enemy to provide an excuse to cower in fear, either.

Why should we be afraid of a country with an economy less than that of Italy?

Not really a case of submitting, rather just stop picking fights and seeking monsters to slay.

The Nazis Party quickly rose to power from an economy where it took a wheelbarrow full of paper money to buy a loaf of bread. Thank goodness for the Stalin/Hitler feud. The theater in Europe would have lasted a while longer if not for Nationalism vs. “Communism” along the eastern front.

Think about World War 2 then. Germany put its effort into militarizing and nearly defeated forces that totaled at least 5 times its economic size.

While having a big economy is wonderful, if you don’t use a reasonable portion of that for national defense, you still lose. Our military manpower is now less than it was during the Great Depression (when we and the world were less than half our present population). We built a grand total of 21 B-2 bombers even though their production cost was next to nothing, after spending a massive amount of money to develop them though. Our nukes are DECADES OLD and we haven’t tested one in that amount of time...whether or not our decaying Plutonium will even explode after this long...no one knows.

...and what do we do? We re-outfit Tridents so 1 or 2 women can shower privately. We reach out to gays and trannies as if there aren’t enough REAL MEN to serve. We pussy’ize our military to the point that our navy hands over intelligence aircraft to China and likely did the same with Iran.

Yet we sit FAT, DUMB, and HAPPY, ready to start World War 3 over a bunch of useless territory on Eastern Ukraine. Reagan didn’t just talk tough, he also REBUILT our military from Carter and Vietnam...but even his starting point was a much stronger military than what we have now.

If we REALLY want to start World War 3, let’s first have a military CAPABLE OF FIGHTING World War 3 - because next time we won’t be nearly as lucky as we were when we started World War 2 (by blockading Japan).
