The way that you phrased your initial statement sounded like a major diss out of the playbook of a libtard. If my information helped to dispel misconceptions of yours, great. If kosher slaughter is properly done, the animal does not "lay there bleeding to death" while conscious. They lose consciousness within a few seconds and just collapse.
In a regular slaughterhouse, animals are stunned by a captive bolt pistol, then their throats are cut. The guys with the captive bolt pistols don't necessarily make every shot a perfect one, or an animal could have an extra tough skull and not be fully unconscious, so it's not necessarily more humane.
