I have asked Mark17 about whether the GoFundMe page is a good vehicle for donations still.
There is a 12 hour time difference, so we may not here from him until rally time.

I plan to take a lot of pictures. Will probably wait until tomorrow to post them as I want to conserve my smartphone battery. It will be a long afternoon and evening! But I'll be typing in reports in real time to this thread. Don't you worry about that!
If my wife is up to it, I plan to hit a certain Mexican restaurant in Westport after the event for some margaritas and fajitas.

Yes, I will definitely take note of any protesters I see. Though after driving around the location, it appears that it is gated all around. So maybe we won't have to deal with them too much while standing in line. There is a protest planned on corner of Jefferson and Park Ave but that is outside the gates and already the police have "no parking" signs posted all around that area.
I'm debating on what to wear. I'd like to wear a business suit out of respect for Trump but it's 95 degrees out right now! I'm wearing shorts, sandals and a Hawaiian shirt right now. I might just stay this way for the rally as well. Being a commuter to NYC, I have several "throw-away" umbrellas. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have my wife drinking bottle after bottle of cold water to hydrate. Be careful - over-hydration is actually more dangerous than the reverse. Allow your thirst to guide you.

It is a bit ironic. My office is a five minute walk from Trump's residence on Fifth Avenue. I walk by or through Trump Tower just about every workday. Yet here he is coming tonight just 20 minutes from my house.
This will not be my first encounter with Trump. Years ago, I was in Las Vegas with my wife walking between the Luxor and Mandalay Bay casinos and there was Trump walking right towards us with a small entourage. I immediately recognized him and waved to him. He waved back with a big smile and said "How're you doing today" and that was about that. I'm guessing he was on his way to the airport (which was right across the street).

We're neighbors with a time warp separating us. I lived in Stony Hill, various locations, from age five through school. In both MA and CT, there are a lot of conservatives, especially on local rights. Getting rid of Common Core resonates in both states. So do gun rights and not being over-run by the invasion of the US. That's why I say Manafort's Route 8 strategy (and tonight Fairfield) is brilliant. Add two factors....neither state is real fond of the Clintons, and neither state has gotten anything but heartache from Obama.
These two states could well be important. They might be easier to win over than are UT and CO, if the Trump team does it right.

Interesting. Between the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative, they got 99 Percent of her donations. It’s like taking it from one pocket and putting it in the other, and getting a big tax write-off. I’ve read that the Clinton Foundation has only spent 10 percent of the money it takes in, on actual charitable work. 90 percent goes for travel, staff salaries, paying the fundraisers, and miscellaneous expenses (payments to cronies.)

Bring a throw away towel that you can soak in water to cool off arms, face, neck, etc. Spray bottle water cools down nicely too...

Have a wonderful time! Looking forward to your reports. I love that Trump will work it in CT. It's NOT business as usual.
"For decades, we've been hoping for a rogue "non-politician" to come along and clean house. I believe we have that in Trump and this is probably our only real chance to change the game. Despite the negativity (even among many here on Free Republic, which I'm surprised to see), I have the expectation that Trump will prevail in the November election. We simply need to ignore the negativity surrounding us and get out to vote. If all the good people of America ignore the polls and the media, do their duty and exercise their right to vote this November, we will have the right outcome."
From your lips to God's ear, some sharp eyes on the ground, and numbers on our side too huge :) to foil. And I do mean foil not fail ;).

They “gave” almost 100% of their money to themselves. How can the Dems not recognize the incestuous aspect of this?

"They gave almost 100% of their money to themselves. How can the Dems not recognize the incestuous aspect of this?" I am sure they recognize this, the question is, do they care? The answer is of course, no.
I imagine this is why the focus is now on the Clinton Foundation and how to disclose the fraud and corruption therein.......
