I’ve tried at times to pray for Hillary; but I do not think
we are commanded to pray for and uphold grievously
corrupt individuals in our prayers. So, I’ve just prayed
that the Lord do with her and Bill as He sees fit. Where
the deaths of others are involved, that is a red line over
which I will not step; nor do I feel any responsibility
to do so.
The best I can do is pray for the salvation of Hillary, Obama, etc. I believe there’s a point in one’s life when it’s too late to make that decision, and maybe I’m wasting my time. Still...
Proverbs 25 clears up a lot about what Jesus said.
21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
22 For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.
[Public prayers for your enemies is the same thing. Public love. But just gestures, sometimes chivalrous.]
And Galacians 6:12. Or is it 6:10?
That clears up something else. Be kind unto all people, ESPECIALLY UNTO THE BROTHERHOOD OF FAITH.
Save your best prayers for the Brotherhood.
