When I did it, you show up, introduce yourself to everyone and grab a chair and watch. You could come and go as needed, there were no restrictions as far as taking a break etc.

There was another conservative (Romney election)observer sitting with me and we had some nice conversations. At one point the ballots were to be moved to another location by one of the poll workers and we told the judge that it was not right to do that.

Most every polling site I visited in Charlotte was run by obvious democrats. This is probably the case in most cities. Democrats run almost every polling place. We need people there to watch!!

In my county, we try to get as many ‘watchers’ and ‘challengers’ signed up as possible. This allows for rotations at the polling places so nobody has to be there all day. Call your county party chairman and demand to be involved.

Thanks for the information. It just seems like an impossible task to stop very many, though! I think a lot of cheating will go on with the ballots and fixing the machines as in the past. I fear that Hillary and Obama are counting on this tried and true Democrat method of winning.
