It's been mentioned here already but what does one expect by awarding the Olympic games to a 3rd world country.
A major embarrassment for the IOC.
But it's all about money and pay-offs anymore.

Being in a convoy, the water was portable.

You would think that with that much chlorine it would be crystal clear.IF it really was chlorine.

Wonder what kind of handle you put on portable water? lol
In all fairness, the poor guy probably had seen some genuine misspellings and thought he needed to step in, yet once again. lol
On TV yesterday, one restaurant had “Fine Dinning” or something like that.

Pool Ozonators should have been used too. We used it on the Hot Tub and never had an issue in all the time we owned it. Once in a while hubby would add a 1/8th cup of bleach.

No, military water trailers are generally stenciled as “potable”. I have seen a few stenciled as “non-potable” that could be used for supporting chemical decontamination sites or some other purpose where potable water isn’t required. Such trailers have a defective liner or rust inside them. A “portable” stencil on a water trailer is a goof up.

Just heard on the Olympics coverage that the pools turned green because they accidentally used hydrogen peroxide instead of Chlorine in the system. The hydrogen peroxide neutralized the chlorine and algae grew.
“Accidentally” putting wrong chemicals in a pool doesn’t raise my confidence. It’s going to be more like a cesspool than a dive pool by the time these geniuses finish!
