Well, sad to report that I did not see ONE meteor!
I went out for ten minutes around 10...nothing.
Peeked out the window at 2:30 (couldn’t open door because our alarm has a voice chime)...nothing.
Checked again at 5 when hubby left for work...nothing.
Checked again a little later (sometimes just before sunrise, you might see a straggler zooming by)...still nothing.
Guess I’l have to search for a video someone managed to capture.
Just finished breakfast and will soon start on chores. I have a couple of bags of cucumbers that I need to can. Some will go for refrigerator dills (trying to perfect a recipe) and some for a thing called Cucumber Salad in a Jar (which is very similar to Bread and Butter pickles). Need to get that done early before the hot-hot heat arrives.
