I used to think statements like this were over the top, but I find myself in agreement with them anymore.
If there really was a “War on Drugs”, Mexican cartels would be wiped out by now. Instead, they thrive. Without the US markets, they’d have problems. The cartels have to have a list of politicians spanning the Americas bought off that would boggle the imagination.
It’s just another front for blowing the public’s tax money on a problem that will never go away w/o some form of sanity.

My cousins wanted me to try weed, from a disgusting device called a “roach clip” which allows one to get every last bit out of a nearly depleted marijuana cigarette butt. They kept saying “this isn’t the good (stuff)” but still, they were very insistent. I declined!
