Just checked NYC’s murder stats on wikipeda...something like 350 in 2015.NYC’s population is at least double,if not triple,Chicago's.Same gun laws...but NYC has Gulliani’s policing methods.Although Mayor Wilhem has recently repudiated those methods.

Whoever does the Hey Jackass! website deserves high praise for the huge amount of work that goes into compiling those statistics. Even though it is just a single city, the data they gather has a much higher quality than even the FBI can assemble in its Uniform Crime Report.
