North Carolina remains in the spotlight as home to the most preposterous arguments over not only privacy issues, but the subject of “transgender children” as well. The latest news to pop up this week was a pending decision by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System (CMS) to adjust their policies so that teachers and administrators will no longer refer to students as boys or girls.
No… I’m not even kidding. (IJR)
A CMS presentation to principals and counselors recommends kids are not referred to as boys and girls, but instead as scholars and students.
Eliminating boy and girl references is one of several policies included in the CMS bully prevention regulations.
One policy allows students to participate in extracurricular activities and overnight field trips based on their gender identity. A student who identifies as a girl would be allowed to participate in an “all-girl” overnight trip… The new guidelines also include provisions to ensure that the parents don’t get wise to what’s going on, and the staff can get in trouble if they “out” any transgender students to their families.
Involvement of parents in the plan is determined in working with the student, considering the student’s age and health, wellbeing and safety concerns.
Staff must take care not to “out” a student to others, including the parents of an older student, without the student’s permission. In contacting the parents, use the student’s name/pronoun on birth certificate unless student or parent says otherwise.
It’s easy enough to try to shrug your shoulders or laugh this off as yet another case of Social Justice Warriors running the system off the rails, but there are serious concerns to be dealt with here.

You would refer to my son or daughter in the correct biological gender term or you would be sued for sexual harrasment.
Mostly fags, I suspect. They’re a small percentage of the overall population but have positioned themselves in key spots in America. Satan is very clever.
My child would continue to use the correct biological term for anyone else and any attempt to stop them would result in a lawsuit. If you can not teach children the correct biological term for themselves and others you are not qualified to teach them anything else.

We played soccer in PE in elementary school, and the teams were the boys against the girls.
And OMG, we had a spelling bee in class, in which the teams were the boys against the girls.
And OMG, one of the words in our spelling bee was “God”. This was a public school.
How would these liberals today have coped with such events???
Perhaps if they concentrated their efforts on reading and math instead of this PC crap they wouldn’t be rated in the lower 50% of education. That is a failing grade.
