I just don't get this, at all. I've been in numerous Subway shops, although admittedly all on the East Coast, and never once have I been 'served a drink' by an employee. The normal method I've seen is to get an empty cup, then fill at the fountain yourself. Is it different in Utah, and if so, why?

Why are some dwelling endlessly on the configuration of this Subway store and how one obtains his/her drinks there?
No matter what, a customer was intentionally drugged.

He could have been injured or killed as a result of the criminal tampering with his food/drink.
There are various footprints and configurations for all sorts of national chains that might differ from each other. Sheesh.

THC? How could THC be put in his drink? Do they mean processed cannabis oil, which would have some THC in it?

One of Cannabis’s cannabinoids is THCv but it is not phycoactive. When THCVv is heated and reaches a certain high temperature it drops the v molecule and becomes THC which is phycoactive. This is why cannabis is smoked (burned) or baked or heated to make cannabis oil. You could eat or drink Cannabis all day long and it would not effect you phycoactively at all.
