One of the 10 or 15,000 Donald Trump subdramas heading into the fall is the question of whether the Republican presidential nominee will participate in all three scheduled debates. It's usually taken for granted that major-party candidates will agree to the Commission on Presidential Debates' schedule, but there’s no law requiring it, and Trump has never seen a political norm he hasn't considered razing and building something gaudy over. And over the past couple of weeks, he’s laid the groundwork for not participating in the debates by suggesting that they are, in some nebulous way, a trap he can't agree to until he's carefully combed through the conditions.
Don’t be fooled. He's going to do them. Well, at least he'll do one of them, and see how much he likes it. What he first needs is some face-saving adjustment to the schedule, the debate rules, the debate hall, or whatever. It doesn't matter what it is, and it doesn't even have to be an alteration that's tactically advantageous. The whole point of his debate moaning is just to act as another dominance play to demonstrate his ability to wield leverage in negotiating a deal.

Illary will probably Mitt her pantsuit right onstage.
Hillary is not well. He will literally make her head explode. She will not physically survive the debates.

Trump lose to googaagaa Hillery, gimme a break. Like he was in republican debates with a bunch of lightweights. Pfffffff...he fended off much sharper people that her in every debate. With many of them, plus the moderators coming at him all at once.
I mean Hillary is no Megan Kelly.

If he attempts to discuss Hillary’s espionage, massive corruption, absolute irresponsibility, pathological lying and her sociopathy in its many forms, the ‘moderators’ will scream, shout, call for his crucifixion and then turn over control back to Hillary (while gobs of slobber drool from their mouths).

He’s gotta start getting at least a few commercials out, even if just in battleground states. And some of them should show his entire quotes (which only would be 15 seconds of air time) which would make the MSM look like criminals.
We need to donate so that he has 100m plus on hand for october commercials.
I slammed Twitter today with bernie’ 600k house. Slammed him at his site and sent it to any MSM outlet i could think of. They might not acknowledge it, but it will there for everyone to see.

So I figure besides going up against the football game, some station will show unseen footage from Gone with the Wind, Citizen Kane and the Godfather that night.
Trump has no intention of missing anything. He is only setting it up so he has a clear rationale to take them apart in the debate. Does any rationale person believe that after all the debates he has done and all the experienced politicians he has taken apart that he is afraid of Hillary? Insane.
Mediascum bias in the debates matters. Candy Crowley single-handedly saved Obama from disaster re Benghazi talking points and turned his failure into a victory. Romney just stood there and took it, but it was hard to object because Crowley asserted her (incorrect) statement with such an impression of authority. Unless you have the transcript right in front of you, you have to think, ok, maybe she’s right. But she was WRONG, and her intervention on behalf of Obozo saved him when he was floundering.
The moderators can have tremendous power and influence, depending upon the format.
Her Highness could lay on the floor in a fetal position sucking her thumb and the media would declare her the hands down winner of the debate. Foregone conclusion.
