Didn't Trump agree to endorse Ryan if Ryan did something with TPP? (I forget what the "something" is)
Anyway, knowing Trump, the TPP issue is more important for America than Trump's ego and he knows that smart people will vote for the other Paul. Paul Ryan and Trump kept their word to each other, did each other favors (TPP & endorsement) and so now they can go back to being their old selves. Trump knows what a snake Ryan is so this NeverTrump thing should be no surprise.
