9100 feet the air gets a little thin so to speak. Were you huffing and puffing a bit cutting those 20-cords of wood. I have done a cord or two when we lived in the northern New Mexico mountains at about 8500 feet, but can’t imagine 20 cords at 9100 feet.

Those firefighters are amazing folks. Were there a lot of the Hotshot crews there? We are seeing some progress on the cleanup and some folks whose foundations were salvageable are getting ready to rebuild..
