The author is a time traveler, obviously. This observation hasn’t been true for the past 30 years.

The WaCompost has not been credible at least as far back as the Nixon administration. Yes, Nixon had many faults. I’m not excusing them. But the witch hunt to bring him down was unparalleled.

Journalists never attack liberals with the same intensity and zeal. Instead, they cover for them. The only time a liberal is attacked is when he is no longer useful and/or they can make far more money by attacking than by covering. (Examples: Bill Cosby and Michael Jackson. Once they were no longer a money source, there was more money to be made by attacking than there was by covering for them, so that’s what is happening.)
