You can bet the clintons have an eye on Chelsea’s political future. If a stink is raised about Ivanka, it puts a crimp in plans for Chelsea. (That would not stop the clintons, however.)

I’m sure that Trump knows that he could not appoint Ivanka to a cabinet position. On a parallel note, we have allowed First Ladies (and perhaps future First Husbands) to function as public officials (remember HillaryCare and Michelle’s school lunch program). By allowing this we have projected manifestly unqualified presidential spouses tinto significant roles in “ruling” the nation. Also, since Hillary and Bill insisted that Hillary was his co-president, perhaps she should be declared ineligible under the 22nd Ammendment.

Mistake; do not float appointing family members to administration, especially when behind. Ivanka should take care of her family and business. She’s done her part already.

35 in November (or sometime before the end of 2016). So on swearing in day she would be 35. So she barely makes it but makes it just the same.
It's illegal to appoint a member of your family to a position in government. So neither Chelsea or Ivanka can be appointed to anything.
How many times Trump and Invanka had told they are not interested. Why beat head on this? Trump want his children to run company when he is seeking office and later.
