2 of my kids that are in their 50s don’t have a landline.

I’ll never give mine up because the switching stations run on deep cycle marine batteries. They work for 96 hours after a hurricane passes through. Cell towers may or may not be up, and the car cigarette lighter can charge only so much. God bless old rotary style landline phones.

My land line comes via the Internet connection
Since I am normally home I see no need for a mobile phone. Maybe twice a year I want one
