Speaker Paul Ryan suggested Thursday that his endorsement of Donald Trump for president is not written in stone.
In a radio interview with WTAQ's "The Jerry Bader Show," the Wisconsin Republican was asked if there would ever be a bridge too far when it comes to the GOP presidential nominee.
"None of these things are ever blank checks," said Ryan, who then added that Trump won the Republican nomination "fair and square" from the voters and delegates.
At the beginning of the interview, Bader asked Ryan how he can continue to walk such a fine line from now until the election of still backing Trump, while constantly criticizing his remarks.
"We are a party where the grassroots Republican primary voter selects our nominee. That's as it should be. That is what it is. I think something should be said about respecting those voters," Ryan said. "He won it fair and square."
Ryan brushed off Trump's comment from earlier this week in which Trump said he's "not quite there yet" as far as endorsing Ryan for reelection. Ryan said he's only interested in endorsements from employers in his congressional district. Paul Manafort, Trump's campaign chairman, told "CBS This Morning" on Thursday that Trump plans to support Ryan.

Screw off RINO jerk.
You’re about to lose your own election Ryan.
Ryan is mute on 400 million dollars to Iran.
Ryan is a dirt bag. Ryan is pompously lecturing Trump to focus on Hillary while himself fragging Trump and not focusing on Hillary. Or his primary opponent for that matter.
Ryan has had an anti-Trump tweet pinned to the top of his Twitter account for FIVE DAYS IN A ROW. Amnesty Ryan should take his own advice and focus on Hillary before he patronizes Trump.
Blank check? It was a barely covered check, dubious at best.
Pack that golden parachute RYANO, you’re gonna need it.
Neither was the American People’s blank check but you wrote in the amount the pResident wanted and then you signed it...
Flake off, your finished, over and done with
...another bites the dust...
Obama’s blank check to Iran.
“I think something should be said about respecting those voters,” Ryan said. “He won it fair and square.”
This can be the text for Ryan’s concession speech to Paul Nehlen next week.
Where did the money come from?
When did Ryan endorse Trump?
Because as the third in the line of secession, He was fully aware of it Months ago!
I just posted this to Newt Gingrich’s public FB page. Because I did not see evidence that it did, in fact, post, I also backed it up with a FB message.

Newt, Love ya’, man. Those of us who support Trump are pleased that you have been vocal in YOUR support for him.
You may recall that I served as a panelist at your 1990 debate with David Worley. You were kind enough to remark that I would make a formidable candidate if I were to run for office. I was so flattered by your comment that I posted the audio to YouTube here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIo8FJJMps8.
I did briefly toy with the idea but laid down until the sensation went away.
I’m writing to ask if you can help me understand your recent comment surrounding Trump’s failure — so far — to endorse PAUL RYAN’s re-election. During your remarks, you stated that Ryan was a “problem solver” and one of the best Speakers we have had.
My question: So far as many of us out here in Flyover Country can tell, with SOME few exceptions, the only problems Ryan has solved were those of the arrogant and dangerous Marxist gaggle currently infesting the White House and the radical fellow travelers (mostly muslim and/or muslim sympathizers and enablers) he has installed in critical national security related positions in an “administration” that looks for all the world more like an intentional series of Reischstag Fires.
Awaiting your reply in hopes you can give us out here among the “great unwashed” reasons why we should stop referring to Paul Ryan as “Vidkun Quisling”.
Regards,
DB
PS: Next time you speak to The Donald, please urge him to stay on message, keep hammering the serial felon opposing him and to leave the hatchet jobs and dirty work to others.
I think that Trump is missing an opportunity to turn the folks abandoning him into a huge plus.
Why would all of these people jump ship? Because they are afraid of losing the sweet deal they have. Change is difficult for a lot of people. Especially those who have thought they were the smartest people in the room.
Trump should publicly ask that question. Show these idiots for what they really are.
Nope... More like a drunk Eastern European guy thrown out of a barroom...
.... otherwise known as... a Bounced Czech...
(Yeah...here till Tuesday, try the veal...) S'up MK??? :^)
I’m sick of Paul Pukefest Ryan as well.
Please Wisconsin - get rid of him.
Trump will get back to the primary target. Don't worry. SOTHOR better gird up.
“Speaker Paul Ryan suggested Thursday that his endorsement of Donald Trump for president is not written in stone.”
When did Ryan endorse Trump?
I must have missed it.
