GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump will soon undertake another significant shift in the tone and staffing of his White House campaign, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani said.
The changes come amidst rumors that Republican leaders are mounting an "intervention" in an attempt to have Trump to accept professional political advice and embrace a less confrontational campaign style amidst flagging poll numbers and low morale in the party.
Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, who has close ties to Trump and is a top advisor on terrorism and national security issues, rejected the description of the shift as the result of an "intervention," as reported by NBC News.
"I wouldn't use the word 'intervention,' because its a word to describe what's done for drug addicts and alcoholics, and Trump is neither of those two things," Giuliani told NJ Advance Media Wednesday evening.
"But I think you're going to see Donald Trump campaigning in a somewhat different way going forward — an evolution that will focus much more on the positive than the negative."

He'll change, but it will be a natural change and it won't be sudden. In hindsight, looking back a few months, it will be a remarkable change in presentation.
Trump's public/rally presentation is a self-created caricature. He will slowly drop that, and the public will start to see more of how he deals with issues and conflict when he is in charge. The caricature is to get people to put him in charge. Before the election, he will be acting as if he is in charge.

The debates will be handled by the media the same way as the Khan thing.
Add the media/Clinton collusion on questions and answers and it could be another very serious issue.
Trump needs to control who the moderators are and refuse to participate in the ambushes.

True. I heard some pundit the other day talking about a huge rural groups of non voters in states like VA that might come out for Trump in a way they never would for Romney or McCain. We shall see.
