GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump will soon undertake another significant shift in the tone and staffing of his White House campaign, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani said.
The changes come amidst rumors that Republican leaders are mounting an "intervention" in an attempt to have Trump to accept professional political advice and embrace a less confrontational campaign style amidst flagging poll numbers and low morale in the party.
Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, who has close ties to Trump and is a top advisor on terrorism and national security issues, rejected the description of the shift as the result of an "intervention," as reported by NBC News.
"I wouldn't use the word 'intervention,' because its a word to describe what's done for drug addicts and alcoholics, and Trump is neither of those two things," Giuliani told NJ Advance Media Wednesday evening.
"But I think you're going to see Donald Trump campaigning in a somewhat different way going forward — an evolution that will focus much more on the positive than the negative."

The Clinton voters will vote for her regardless of what is exposed or proven or hinted to.
The votes needed to win this, and win this big, belong to the population that has little interest, being burned out over their voting years.
They have to literally have a picture painted, of what is really in store for them should She get the nod, and just how important it is for them to participate this time, to deny the socialist agenda at this pivotal point in the history of the US.

Right......changing staff is just wise with the degree of opposition against him.....it’s about protecting Trump from those within his campaign who might otherwise hurt him on the campaign trail.....keep it loose!

Nonsense. No matter what Trump says/does he will get KILLED by the presstitutes and GOPe. Imagine if Trump had said he was going to raise taxes on the middle class as Clinton did. She gets a complete pass for something that would get Trump in hot water.

I am sure Trump will carry TX w/ ease, but I talked with a Democrat, who is a liberal teacher this am for over an hour. She said she couldn’t talk to anyone else about it, so called me since she knows I’m a Trump Supporter.
She said there was no way she was voting for Hillary after watching the Dem Convention, Hillary’s pandering to certain groups, and also the “Vagina Vote” meme. She said she had fallen for all Obama’s “Post Racial Time for a Black President” to prove we are past racism, and his other lies, and the Country seems to be at a tipping point.
She said she thought we were supposed to be past “all that”, but now we are in the thick of it..I said, most Americans are “past all that”, but they have dragged us into the middle of it.
She was angry at how she has been manipulated by the Obamas, Hillarys, Teacher’s Unions/NEA types all these years. And she will vote for Trump, but she and her family are not going to advertise their epiphany because of fear of the consequences.
I refuse to allow the Devils in the media tell me what is ‘presidential’.

I agree with your assertion that Trump needs to focus on Hillary. She presents a “target rich environment.”

I wish he would follow Pence’s example. Pence is intelligent,dignified and one of the few remaining statesmen.
Literally all Trump has to do is seem Presidential.

Trump hasn’t gone AWOL with Americans dead by the dozens unlike Ted Cruz and the rest of the “true conservatives”. He looks far more patriotic and Presidential than those sore losers, that’s for sure.
In my mind it’s been obvious that Trump will need to change his posture in order to attract voters that currently have objections to him.
Trump certainly knows that. He gets feedback at his rallies. It doesn’t take seasoned politicians to tell him that. So, to me it’s been a question of “when?”.
He could either just do it or have it orchestrated as though he’s responding to advice from others. He might choose the latter because it shows that does listen to others and is indeed a team player.
Perhaps you need a safe space this election.
