A leading psychiatrist has said that after working in the field for over two decades, he believes demon possession is real. Dr. Richard Gallagher, a professor of clinical psychiatry at New York Medical College, says his opinion differs from most other professionals in the field.
Gallagher has seen over one hundred people who appeared to have paranormal abilities. He deemed that most of these individuals suffered from mental illness. Still, he claims to have also seen the real thing.
"For the past two-and-a-half decades and over several hundred consultations, I've helped clergy from multiple denominations and faiths to filter episodes of mental illness - which represent the overwhelming majority of cases - from, literally, the devil's work," Gallagher said.
According to Gallagher, demonic possessions could even be on the rise.

We can’t define spiritual blindness in secular terms... that is a built in contradiction.
The devil does a good job of hiding, even from Christians with decades of faith. Because sin is where the devil hides.

Demonism is widespread, and specifically rampant among Muslims, whose religion has demonic origins and a demonic belief system. The only Muslims who are relatively unaffected by this are the MINOs, and even they are enablers.
When I first read title, I thought it was Democratic possession, which is unfortunately on the rise.

In my opinion, the New Testament-described manifestations of demon possession were only manifested because the possessed person was in conflict with the demon(s), wanting deliverance.
When a person is in collusion with evil, the manifestations aren’t as apparent, because the conflict isn’t so intense. What I’m saying is that many today are likely possessed by evil spirits, but appear to be fully functioning and coherent because they are in league with the demons.

Demonic possession is a far more believable and rational explanation for certain human behaviors than the explanations offered by Freudians or cognitive psychologists.
They deal with a “pretend” devil (the real one would make them mess their pants), but it might be possible even through this for some to end up entangled with the real one.

Do we really need to return to a time when schizophrenics, people with bipolar disorder, and people with dementia were “diagnosed” with demonic possession and accused of witchcraft?
Indeed. How do these "scientists" explain the paranormal displays which often accompany demon possession?
They’re not even interested in objectively verifying them. Their worldview has ruled the possibility of such a thing out.
So, I take it that you think that demon possession, and therefore, the Scriptures, are all bunk?
