Hollywood can’t make a good movie today. Every rare now and then a gem slips through the corporate brass. Movies were better when it wasn’t a 21 year old faggot deciding what movies to make.

I exaggerate. All movie ideas now go through a series of focus groups which is why they are getting so bad. Focus groups destroy creativity and ruin everything they touch by compressing things. In order to eliminate the undesirable the also eliminate the outstanding. Everything gets compressed into a mediocre middle.

Movies by committee? Gee, what could go wrong.

PUKE.

"...In order to eliminate the undesirable the also eliminate the outstanding...."

What you said right there is awesome in that it is a metaphor for our modern times overall.

***Hollywood can’t make a good movie today.***

Thirty years ago it was said that to make up for a bad script you spent extra on Special Effects. Kind of like dangling beads in front of the natives.

Today movies are CGI driven, no real plot needed. I’ve seen what could have been some real good dramas ruined by excess CGI.
