Senator John McCain injected himself into the controversy between Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and Khizr Khan Monday. His primary opponent, former Arizona state Senator Dr. Kelli Ward, immediately called McCain out for falling for the "cynical political stunt cooked up by the Clinton Establishment."
In a statement provided to Breitbart News, Dr. Ward rips both Clinton and McCain.
"The Khan controversy is a cynical political stunt cooked up by the Clinton Establishment, and, sadly, John McCain has fallen right into it." She adds, "McCain’s statement today makes clear that he really wants Hillary Clinton in the White House, and his tepid 'support' for Trump is only disingenuous pandering."

Yes, and that's exactly the point. If Trump reverses himself here, then the camel's nose (pun intended) is under the tent and the media will go into full-on frenzy.
What is the offensive quote? Why can't they play it? They talk about it every half-hour on the hour on every news feed in the land. They just say there's some sort of insult or attack, and everyone is accepting that as if it was what happened, instead of what they themselves scripted three weeks ago. I'm quite convinced that is what they did, because it's the only reason to bring this agent to their convention.
It's not "news," it's a manufactured show created out of whole cloth. It's ludicrous. Now the media is reporting that Obama is out in some foreign country attacking Trump (an American) for being repeatedly attacked by the media. It's a feedback loop. You can't do this in Excel, you're not allowed, because it's nonsense.
Idiot RINOs are joining in. It's Kafka-esque. It's "Phony Soldier" again. The left creates a false narrative based on what Trump never said. When you call them out on it, they're completely flummoxed. But nobody is calling them out on it because this coward Khan (that's right) is doing the old PLO thing of firing mortars from behind his son's casket and people are afraid of calling him out on it.

Kelli Ward should produce a 30 second ad:
“Senator McCain Republicans in the state of Arizona deserve to know who you support for President. Simple question: Will you cast your vote for DJT the Republican nominee OR HRC the Democrat nominee.”
It’s called “3rd rail politics” because if you touch it you’re dead. In the conventional sense there are topics that politicians avoid like the plague because they know that they will be ground up no matter what they do or say. Trump is different because he has positioned himself as an un-politician who isn’t afraid to tell the truth or speak his mind.
We’ve all seen the videos of Dan Quayle and the “potatoe” scandal and George Allen and his “macaca” moment - these were moments when candidates innocently mis-spoke and it derailed their respective campaigns. Those squeamish FReepers remember those moments all too well and don’t want to see Trump in similar straights.
The problem with Quayle and Allen was that they were honorable but naive. They thought (wrongly) that they were dealing with similarly honorable professionals in the press - they weren’t.
I don’t believe that Trump has any blinders as to the innate evil of the lamestream media. So far what I’ve seen is that he runs circles around the best of them.
Too bad, as it would be sweet revenge on McCain for all the back-stabbing he has done - and will continue to do before he's booted out.
