COLORADO SPRINGS Speaker Paul Ryan told a donor audience convened by the billionaire Koch brothers that they're in a fight to "retake the soul" of the Republican Party.
"We have to do a better job of taking the moral high ground ... showing [conservative] ideas in practice," Ryan said on Monday.
"And it will help us retake the soul of our own party, which we have our own challenges with these days."
Ryan addressed a room of some 400 donors who have been gathered here since Saturday in a luxury resort at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains for the summer retreat of the Koch network, founded by billionaire brothers Charles and David.

Ryan talking about the “soul” of anything seems about as hypocritical as one could be.
The organization which he now heads hasn’t had its soul in decades. They exist solely for that cesspool of 61.4 square miles the infest. Their entire existence as they now operate in my opinion is almost as big a threat as the mainstream media.

A soul requires belief and ethics
Paul Ryan has already demonstrated that he he has neither belief ,.. nor ethics
he has just re-election jitters
and 'claims' to be Conservative only at election time,
when , in fact, he is a Narcissist gobalist
He deserves to be 'Cantorized ' !

Paul Ryan is not a conservative!
- Paul Ryan is a Koch Brothers tool
- Paul Ryan is an open borders tool
- Paul Ryan is a tool of open borders Congress critter Luis Gutiérrez
- Paul Ryan is a tool of Tim Kook
- Paul Ryan is the free traitor's tool
- Paul Ryan is a Hillary Clinton tool as he does everything he can to sabotage Donald Trump
Pray that Paul Ryan loses his upcoming primary!

This is a very strange party, to distance its money and leadership from its own Presidential nominee. Is it too late for Trump to run as an independent?
To: cotton1706
It's funny how they don't like outsiders coming into the Party and displacing them from what they perceive as their birthright.
Yet they cannot understand the fear of their base who are troubled over being displaced by low skill, uneducated and potentially violent People from Central and Southern America.

Speaker Paul Ryan told a donor audience convened by the billionaire Koch brothers that they're in a fight to "retake the soul" of the Republican Party.Speaker Paul Ryan is corrupt and needs to go. He is too quick to judge, too quick to criticize Trump without looking at the evidence and context.
Speaker Paul Ryan has been WRONG every time. I do not think that he apologized or corrected himself.
We need honest politicians who do not jump on the wrong bandwagon every time. GOPe needs to be replaced by the GOP.
Ryan is part of the vast left-wing conspiracy.
He is too intelligent to be a useful idiot. The other alternative is that he is corrupt.

It’s up to the voters of Wisconsin whether that happens. I pray that it does. It borders on the grotesque to read that slimeball’s hypocritical words about truth, and principles.....as though he actually knew what they mean!
