Sheriffs in most Nevada counties have come out against a background check initiative that gun control advocates are supporting on the ballot this November, but the top cop in the largest police agency in the state says he'll sit this one out.

Chuck Allen, Washoe County sheriff, said, “Question 1 gun control initiative would make criminals out of law-abiding citizens, tax already scarce law enforcement resources, while doing nothing to stop criminals or make us any safer. I will fight to protect our freedom and stop the ‘Californication’ of Nevada gun rights by outside groups."
So far bloomin idjit and his anti 2nd pals have garnered over $3 million to push this initiative. The pro gun folks——$22,000+. Hard to beat but we’re working on it. More info at:

Back in 1982, California sheriffs were opposed to Prop 15 to register and ban handguns in their state. Prop 15 failed at the polls
California sheriffs also opposed Cali’s “a-s-s-sault rifle ban”
Didn’t stop the politicians from passing them anyway.
Sadly I recall Cali voters overwhelmingly voting yes on some issue only to have the Cali supremes tell them too bad.
The `rats want to colonoscope gun buyers and their own convention delegates had to stand-and-deliver, but they insist voters shouldn’t have to produce a photo ID.
Seems to be the rat’s goal.
Criminalize law abiding citizens.
Hamstring law enforcement.
Ignore the actual criminals and sometimes help them.
Import millions of lawless immigrants.
Cause more chaos and death.
Then step in to solve the problem. that they created.

Fact of the matter is that the rural sheriffs in CA are just like Nevada. Nevada is fortunate that it has only one large RAT-Run $hithole city, Las Vegas, wereas California has a dozen or more. Just wonder when the rest of Nevada starts a process to sever Las Vegas from the state as California’s northern counties are doing with the State of Jefferson movement.
