Why Clinton's Losing the Nuclear Biscuit Was Really, Really Bad
The Atlantic ^ | Oct 22, 2010 | Marc Ambinder

Former President Clinton's office declined to comment today on reports that he managed to lose the personal identification code needed to confirm nuclear launches and never told anyone about it.

Gen. Hugh Shelton, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the last few years of Clinton's term, writes about the episode in his new autobiography. Shelton is especially sensitive to the proper authentication procedures, having served as deputy commander of the National Military Command Center (NMCC), through which all nuclear launch progression action chains are processed. The National Command Authority (NCA), as the process and the person of the commander in chief is called, passes from the President to the Vice President to the Secretary of Defense. (In the absence of the SecDef, the Deputy Secretary of Defense can stand in.)

Hillary must have forgotten about this when she was saying that Trump can't be trusted with the nuclear codes.

No,she didn't forget about it. You can always count on the fact that whatever the liberals are falsely accusing us of, is exactly what they are doing themselves.

How do you lose something like this?

Every so often I need to clean out my wallet and I put the content in a drawer - I have things going back to 1964!

I am thinking while having a little fun with someone he picked up they stole out of his wallet and he did not notice right away and since he had so many little affairs he could not remember who might have done it.

——How do you lose something like this?——

By not giving a damn. Bubba had decided that he would never push the button and the code was therefore irrelevant.

They need to be stood against a wall and shot

The nuclear code was just one of the things the ChiComs got for those grocery sacks full of cash that Johnny Chung delivered to Hillary. That this Jezebel would be our first woman president is too terrible to contemplate. Pray that God will have mercy on our sick country.

The world is likely safer the sooner a President Clinton loses the codes.

I am thinking that this might be one of the background pieces that Tom Clancy had right in his Jack Ryan thrillers. As I recall it, when you become one of the people who have authorization authority or confirmation authority, after passing Senate confirmation, you are issued a wallet sized card to carry. It has a number of ‘codes’ arranged in columns & rows and YOU, the card holder, decide which particular cell is the one that IDs you.

My GUESS is that Bubba forgot which cell he was supposed to use. Given the seriousness, I don’t think that the NMCC permits more than a couple before going to backup operations.

That only applies when a launch order is to be given. If Bubba realized at some point that he had forgotten, he could have had SecDef update his choice.

One of his former secret service agents wrote a book and described this

The Clintons are both depraved in their self absorption and endless maneuvering between grasping political power and pursuing personal wealth and the sordid pleasures wealth and power can buy

They so far exceed corruption there needs to be a new term

She can’t remember being HACKED either, both have memory problems. Early Alzheimer’s.

I see none of the MSM noticed she plagiarized part of her screeching “America is great because America is good.” Plagiarized from Alexis de Tocqueville.
