Vladimir Putin is assembling a secret fleet of super submarines which could topple NATO and plunge the world into war.
A report by naval experts warns that Russia already has a small but sophisticated army of subs which are capable of launching missile strikes across the globe.

This isn’t the same Russia of twenty years ago. The bear is back.
Uh huh...
Him a jenyouwine War Hero too... complete with medals and stuff...
He threw them over the White House wall, though.. because he was mad...
But he was in Vietnam.
Did I mention he was in Vietnam?
Nothing the size of a sub is impossible to track.
That would be a navy of subs, wifflebrain.
I'm sure that this is no longer accurate since, just this week, we learned that we now have the new U.S.S. Harvey Milk coming online.
Wait wut? When Romney told the people that Russian resurgence was a threat to America obama said he was stuck in the 80s. What happened?
I guess the Chinese, who are the much bigger threat, bribed Hillary with more money. They keep this up and the Demonrat Communists are going to their old ally raining down a shitstorm on them.
John Kerry is a genital wart.
This is deeply disturbing. Maybe Kerry can hire Pussy Riot to stop Vlad.
If there is anything a ship named the U.S.S. Harvey Milk can do, it's find a long tube filled with seamen.
All I can say is that Ike was right on whom to be aware of.
Why worry about Putin? He’s smart enough to stand back and laugh while we destroy ourselves. Why would he waste the money and manpower to give us something to pull together and fight him?
Bullshit.
Weren’t the Russian subs unable to fire ballistic missiles for years and years because of screwups
“Not at all, but it’s that coming back up thing that might be the problem.”
Beat me to it. My first thought was the scene in U 571 where the spook asks how deep the sub will go. “She’ll go all the way to the bottom if we don’t stop her.”
At one time in the early 1960’s the U.S. Navy was looking into the possibility of stationing icbm missile subs in the Great Lakes. Those would be hard for an enemy to hit.
OK, you win FR for today with that one. :)
I hear the Harvey Milk is capable of sneaking up on an enemy and firing a formidable heat seeking missile run up the tailpipe.
It isn’t the secret super submarine fleet you need to worry over.
It’s the secret super-duper submarine fleet that should have everyone scared.
On the real side of things
Rostov -on- Don (Vashavyanka-class)
Russians have already used them against ISIS and al Qaeda. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu with Russia President Vladimir Putin recently held a televised meeting and broadcast footage of the submarines striking at ISIS targets.
This Russian sub can remain submerged for 45 days. Weighing in at 4,000 tons, it is very small and very fast and can cruise at an underwater speed of 20 knots. Because of its small size, it is able to get into *shallow water*.
Because it is so quiet, it leaves no sound signature. It becomes invisible. (a bit of hype) But D-E subs are very quiet.
Several are now taking up residence just off the coast of Syria, Lebanon, Turkey and Israel.
They have real teeth as well.
“The Kalibr cruise missile is a highly efficient weapon as was amply proved by the recent launches from the Rostov-on-Don submarine. Kalibr missiles will be installed on the modernized Project 971 submarines, Kochemazov said.
The Rostov-on-Don submarine the admiral is referring to is an improved Project 636.3 Kilo-class (aka Vashavyanka-class) diesel-electric submarine purportedly one of the quietest diesel subs in the world. It is primarily designed for anti-submarine warfare (ASW) and anti-surface-ship warfare (ASuW).

Russia’s new Project 885 nuclear attack boats are no joke either.
Putin, if you take Europe you get 2+ Muslim terrorists. Just saying.
