Some woman at the DNC spoke in the same white dress (larger size) that Melania wore.
I didn’t see a one of the speakers wear an American flag pin. It’s a little but big thing.
Did they open the days of the convention with the national anthem?
Yes, the did. They even recited the pledge of allegiance. Of course, they had to put the words to the pledge on a big teleprompter facing the crowd so the audience could keep up.
Interesting side note: I expected some sort of controversy when they got to the "under God" part of the pledge, but so many people were reading it off the teleprompter that they had to stick to the script.
