Terrible speech.
Not a single memorable line in it people can remember.
What struck me is Hillary didn’t once mention white men in her address, even though she’s deep underwater with them.
She pandered to people already predisposed to vote for her and didn’t win over people she needs to win in November.
Hillary blew it - she looked like a scold, a bitter and angry woman and there was no charisma and no warmth to her words.
Her speech could have been a lot more but it was partisan and full of liberal bromides rather than a vision of where to take the country in the future.
Quite simply put, it was one of the worst convention addresses we’ve ever heard and nothing about it made Hillary more likeable or electable.
There is nothing to reveal to the nation of what kind of President she would be and moreover, Hillary is a parody of a bad presidential candidate.
Tonight had loser written all over her.
And that white, bunched up, ill-fitting suit!!! She’s got a lot of money .... just needs a stylist.
Eight years of Hillary, her 90-year-old “husband”, Chelsea, and Huma (and Weiner), or eight years of Donald, Melania, and Ivanka?
Easy choice.
Send Hillary home to her beloved grandchildren.
Quite simply, she'll be above the law...
she looked like a scold, a bitter and angry woman and there was no charisma and no warmth to her words.IOW it was from her heart.
The shortage of white male votes will be addressed
when they program the voting machines.
I didn’t watch it (yawn) but I thought that Shrillary and her advisers would have the common sense to do everything she seems not to have done. She didn’t need to cater to every ‘Rat interest group that has already been pandered to ad nauseum. She needed to deliver a tight, eloquent, inspirational address that people would want to quote and circulate. I did catch a clip of her angry ranting against Donald Trump and thought that was exactly what she did NOT need in her acceptance speech. Opportunity squandered, for her.....
Nice analysis. You paint a compelling picture that she failed at her signature moment.
Her “follow the money” quote is going to be the rope that hangs her.
She looked like a scold, a bitter and angry woman and there was no charisma and no warmth to her words.
That’s exactly what she so no surprise here.
Great analysis, but the MSM can’t seem to find anything wrong with her speech.
