Most interesting, perhaps. Best? Tightest?
Was he watching the same convention that the rest of us were?
Terrible speech.
Not a single memorable line in it people can remember.
What struck me is Hillary didn’t once mention white men in her address, even though she’s deep underwater with them.
She pandered to people already predisposed to vote for her and didn’t win over people she needs to win in November.
Hillary blew it - she looked like a scold, a bitter and angry woman and there was no charisma and no warmth to her words.
Her speech could have been a lot more but it was partisan and full of liberal bromides rather than a vision of where to take the country in the future.
Quite simply put, it was one of the worst convention addresses we’ve ever heard and nothing about it made Hillary more likeable or electable.
There is nothing to reveal to the nation of what kind of President she would be and moreover, Hillary is a parody of a bad presidential candidate.
Tonight had loser written all over her.
So did Monica.
I learned something. I didn’t know her father designed drapery material. THAT explains her wardrobe choices.
If I’m not mistaken I think she proposed ANOTHER stimulus for job creation. How’s that going to go over adding another trillion or more to the deficit?
And that’s probably the only thing that lesbo has blown in 45 years.
Just anecdotal evidence, quick take from people I know, nobody liked her speech. Some people I know are more moderate or liberal than I am, but even they didn’t like it.
I’m sure the media loved it, and the Today Show and all of them tomorrow will be having their mediagasm about it.
I’m sure it was a letdown to her loyal followers, to see Hillary mount the podium, and fail to deliver.
I know it’s a cliche, but it was the speech of her life.
Lots of people don’t follow all this regularly as people here on Free Republic do. Millions may have been tuning in for the first time to this election season to see Hillary. Hillary didn’t convince too many people with this speech.
And as lame as it was, many who are just tuning in may have just decided to tune out Hillary for the rest of the campaign. She may not get other chances to win them back.
Libs all pointing to this line in Clinton’s speech, saying it is wonderful, just wonderful.
Clinton: “America is great because America is good.”
Alexis deTocqueville: “America is great because America is good..:
Hmmm.
Hey Tim. Hey Tim! Somebody wake up Bill!
"da-DA da-DA ta-TA"
"da-DA da-DA ta-TA"
"da-DA da-DA da-DA ta-DA"....
I saw a woman on Fox who, in post speech analysis, talked about how great the speech and how she would always remember Hilliary’s most memorable line: “America is great because America is good.” No one bothered to tell her that was a quote attributed (plagiarized?)to Alexis de Tocqueville.
It really doesn’t matter. Soros has already had the voting boxes loaded with the results. And guess who we’ll have for 8 years?
lead balloon !?
I did not watch her speech, although I accidentally heard some of her BULLSNOT when I switched over to see the evening news, and she was still blabbering.
I quickly changed the station because I have enough CRAP in my life, I don’t need hers!
But, what I noticed more than anything, anything at all, is the LACK of praise and quotes and fanfare on any internet news this morning, even the local news in San Antonio really only covered it for a few seconds.
I figured at the very least they would be praising the fact that she is the first woman in a major party...blah...blah, but NOPE. NOTHING!
That speech must have been pretty boring and plain!
She was boring!
The saddest spectacle was how her Hunger Games media parasites gushed and still gush without abatement.
