Caddell was also critical of Democratic messaging after Donald Trumps press conference on Wednesday. Yesterday was one of the most amazing days Ive ever seen, he declared. Throwing the treason word around, the T-word, if you will. Why were they walking into the trap?
He said he did not know what might have been revealed in the pilfered DNC voicemails released by WikiLeaks Wednesday, but anything that has to do with the words email, Hillary, the DNC all of this just continues to roil the situation.
He agreed with Bannon that Trump was deliberately baiting Democrats and the media by making controversial comments about Clintons emails, and they walked right into the trap, believe me.
Caddell also weighed in on the debut of Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine, who seems like a very, basically nice man, reading other peoples words and looking like, you know, What am I doing here?

My only trouble is I can't decide which I like better, him kicking their elephant they can't see or when they complain about it. Lol!!
What fun and what a change of fortune!
A year ago we, the people, were all in and about to lose it all to a crooked dealer, and then BOOM!, Fate dealt US the Trump card.
Great points, it’s outstanding to finally have a candidate who isn’t playing the PC game.
They swallowed that bait so hard
it came out their poop chute before they knew what happened!
It's not okay to provide SAM missiles to drunks who then use them to shoot down commercial airliners. It's not okay to assassinate political opponents or critics in the press. It's not okay to suppress the development of a thriving private sector in the Russian economy. It's not okay to create a Kleptocracy that is bound to lead to economic failure.
Putin is no friend to Trump and he is no friend to the USA. Whenever a politician must choose between his own country and an enemy nation, he/she should side with his own country and he/she should never leave any doubt about it.
...and then there is Fox News fruit, "Mr. eyeshadow" repeating the moron lie; I heard what Trump said and he was NOT encouraging Russia to "spy on "us..." It's like dealing with a gang of hysterical Jr. High School girls.
The Russians would no more react to my demand to STOP spying on us as to the imbecilic suggestion that they are susceptible to an invitation TO START SPYING ON US.
Those emails have been in enemy hands for years; the hard drives no longer exist. However finding and sorting 30,000 emails may take some time...
It takes a village of morons to keep flogging that dead horse.
Chicago here, my 2pm news, just said ‘ Trump asked Russia to hack into Hillary’ s emails’. Don’t know if everyone is hearing the same but this is really annoying
Wonder what a Trump AG will do with the Clinton Foundation? My guess is if she looses, the Clinton Klan relocates overseas - FAST.
Trump is again exposing the media here as BIG LIARS who take their marching orders from Democrat talking point handouts.

My take as well. And by reacting as they did, the Democrat party and their media supporters showed their total cluelessness.
bump # 17.
thanx Liz for posting
Well, if he was in charge of cybersecurity why did he let Hillary run a homebrewed server for classified information?
Huh?
Huh?
This was Trump’s “We begin bombing in five minutes” moment.
Too bad for Clinton he launched it during her convention.
Trumps mind is a sharp as a surgeons laser scalpel.
He didn’t say that by accident, he sets many traps, most but not all of them work, this one worked beautifully.
Too bad for Clinton he launched it during her convention.
Exquisite!
Pat Caddell, an honest Democrat.

Yes, I fear there are probably only about 5 of them left in the wild and no mating pairs.
Cookie monster?
The Trap wasn’t to get them to admit the emails were a security risk, it was to throw the Democrats (and by association, the MSM) off message. They gleefully jumped right into it.
It’s like dealing with a gang of hysterical Jr. High School girls.

My take on the cable news networks. They spend 85% of the morning segment commenting on what some pol or some pundit said about some other politician or political analyst.
It just reminds me of
Did you hear what Madison said about Ashley. OMG! Did you see her hair today?
