This election, Obama said, is not just a choice between parties or policies; the usual debates between left and right. This is a more fundamental choice about who we are as a people, and whether we stay true to this great American experiment in self-government.
What horse blank. What bull blank.
Where his reasoning is blanked up, is that the left does not believe in self-government. The left believes in imposing its will on all of us.
And with the Supreme Court hanging in the balance, that may be more true in this election cycle than ever before. For if Hillary wins, the Supreme Court will have a liberal majority imposing its will. And the lower court judges are also appointed by the president, so Hillary will fill the lower courts with liberal judges as well.
Who we are as a people means that we have to vote for Hillary, otherwise we don’t believe in this great American experiment in self-government??? Really??
Believing in America and our system of self-government is not dependent on voting for any particular person, or any particular political party.
Most of these left-wingers are oddballs who basically want to do their own thing & have everyone go along with it. Each one is living in his or her own fantasy world.
I can't imagine a community with any of these people, let alone a country. (How many 1960s communes lasted?) They will move on somewhere else once they get bored or frustrated. Most will self-destruct through either drugs or suicide.
