Turkish internal and external chatter such as this help us narrow in on the truth about what is going on in Turkey.
Triangulate.
The truth will emerge.

Headline doesn’t match the story.
Headline makes it sound like this is official Egyptian policy, but story shows that it is merely a proposal by some legislators. Big difference.

If true, I support it. After the Egyptian military kicked out Obambi’s Muslim Brotherhood BFF, Morsi, I celebrated that Egypt didn’t join the “Arab Spring” and watch a nation of history go down with others. Bet Obambi and Hellary are having conniption fits over this.

IIRC Egypt also granted asylum to the Shah of Iran after he was overthrown.

Egypt doesn’t trust Obama. Safer there than facing extradition. Ever since the bogus ‘Arab Spring’ and his pals the Brotherhood brought mayhem to Egypt.

Yes, the Silk Road is not good for Egypt.
Unlike Turkey, Russia and Iran Egypt is of no use to China.
A Silk Road to the Dardanelles would drastically reduce revenue from the Suez Canal.

I would question why Egypt would do something so seemingly provacitive?
I would guess the Egyptian know well that Erdogan has a Neapolitan complex.

From what I understand the current Egyptian government are the good guys as opposed to Obama’s failed Arab Spring Muslim Brotherhood government.
If true they deserve our support and in your face Turkey.

Tit for tat. Turkey supported and supports the Moslem brotherhood against Egypt.
