I don’t think many Americans believe their marriage is anything other than a political partnership of convenience.
There are many Americans who know the truth, but not all of them. There are Democrats and some independents who will buy this. I kid you not, there is a woman wearing pink on the CNN panel right now. She just talked about how Bill pursued Hillary and how he was smitten and is still clearly smitten. She thought it was just such a romantic story.
