Wait a minute...NBC just told us Trump didn’t get a bounce...they wouldn’t lie to us would they?

Don’t worry, NBC was Johnny on the spot with a new poll showing no bounce, Clinton still leading by 1 point.

Mothing to see here. NBC just stated there was no bounce and Hillary is up by 1.

Forget that they had her up by 9 two weeks ago and most polls now have trump up by 5.

The online response I sent to NBC should shake whomever reads it.

We’re not all dumb ####s, even though they think we are.

The Dems will be even more stunned when they don’t get any such bounce after their cabal gets done planning our destruction on Thursday.

The Russians told me that the DNC just emailed NBC and ordered them to say there was no bounce.

in cases like this it’s better to just click through and post the source story instead of the meta-story

http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/289196-dems-fret-over-trump-bounce

primary sources are always better than someone’s interpretation or opinion

Maybe NBC didn’t get the memo?

Bounce or no bounce?! I guess the no bounce is propaganda, to be buried until after the Dem convention when Clinton will likely get a bounce, offsetting some or all of Trump’s? Figure once all the dust settles over the next 2-3 weeks we’ll see Trump in nice lead, one that media won’t be able to bury.

"The Hill: Dems Stunned At Trump's RNC "Bounce"

Worried Democrats say they thought some of the “dark” themes that Trump and his allies raised in Cleveland wouldn’t gain traction in modern-day America.

Yet a flurry of polls have suggested that the GOP presidential nominee is ahead or in a dead heat with presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

Some Democrats can’t believe they are in a close race."

Hmmmmm. Apparently only the propagandists believed their own propaganda.

Bummer.

Theres another thread on FR from NBC that says no bounce exists.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3453173/posts

Remember too, these are the "experts" that have consistently ruled that Trump didn't have a chance in the primaries, in the debates, at the RNC convention in the general election.

The Dems are so used to Republicans playing nice and being constantly on the defensive. Now that the Republicans are going after the Dem candidate with the same vigor the Dems usually do, they’re in panic mode.

They are going to suffer even more when Trump gets a bounce from the DNC convention next week.

Alarmed, this is just the beginning. Pretty soon the media will start to panic.

Americans tend to instinctively admire competence, of every kind. We even quietly admire competent rogues and criminals. Bill Clinton was an extremely competent liar, womanizer and rapist if there was resistance, and overall aww shucks con artiste who was liked by enough voters, 49% roughly, to win the presidency twice (Hillary was obviously the muscle and enforcer in that operation ... a natural born thug in a pantsuit).

What people saw in Cleveland was four days of managerial competence. Even the "controversial" parts were orchestrated. Does anyone seriously believe Donald Trump didn't know what Cruz was going to do or that it would result in him being booed off the stage? Not the first Republican convention where that's happened. Look up Nelson Rockefeller, 1964. But it came off like a ballet. Same with the police and civilian (Open Carry Guns and Bikers on Hogs, oh my!) law enforcement. Even the weather cooperated.

Then an hour and fifteen minute that seemed like a half hour acceptance speech made up of slowly and strongly stated, easy to understand and recall, points, all in the natural voice of the speaker. That's not easy to pull off. Most speakers in that situation speed up, step on applause lines, and try to sound like Charlton Heston on Mt. Sinai. But Trump sounded like Trump. Less stream of consciousness and closer to the text in front of him, but still his voice.

What people are seeing this week in Philadelphia is incompetence mixed with a sewage rank dose of large scale conspiracy and corruption. You only get one chance to make a first impression. The impression made in Cleveland was a well run operation, almost as if an experienced businessman was behind the wheel. The contrast this week is just about absolute.

...about the worry among Democrats over GOP nominee Donald Trump’s impressive post-convention poll bounce...interesting - even the local outlets - Channel 10 in Philly - were peddling the NBC poll purportedly showing the Trump got "no bounce" - apparently they can't understand that going from -9 to -1 is in fact quite a bounce even though Trump didn't go ahead.....
